Artist Interviews

The best interviews are conversations, not interrogations. The Door Magazine approaches artists, producers, engineers and label owners with genuine curiosity rather than a publicist's agenda. This section collects long-form conversations with the people who make music — debut artists who have not yet learned to give careful answers, veterans who have nothing left to prove, and the producers whose contributions are rarely acknowledged. We ask about process, about failure, about the decisions that shaped a career. We do not ask about celebrity.
